A gloriously sunshiney day calls for a glorious kind of drink.

I, readers, have found that glorious drink: A Tall Extra Coffee Caramel Frappuccino. Let me break it down for you….

-Frappuccino. Doesn’t the name just bring a smile to your face (and not just because it’s in the name of the blog)? Go ahead. Say it. Frappuccino. A frappuccino brings butterflies to your tummy, goosebumps to your arms, and a light-headedness that often requires sitting down.

-Next is Caramel. Like chocolate and vanilla’s black sheep cousin who is the life of the party, caramel doesn’t get the credit it deserves. Silky, smooth, sweet, sticky – could you ask for anything more in a flavor or topping?

-Then there’s the Coffee. Not just regular coffee but EXTRA coffee. It gives the drink a grown up kind of punch, moving it beyond the realms of the kid friendly ‘cream’ frappuccinos. It’s that mid day kick in the pants or that special late afternoon treat that you know you should feel guilty about, but you don’t. You just don’t.

-Last is the Tall. Because we all know you can have too much of a good thing. And between price and calories, we must extend a little restraint. But just a little. There’s still the whipped cream…

Psalm 37:4 says, “Delight yourself in the Lord!” Not only does one of these babies put me in such a good mood that loving Jesus is that much easier, I have a feeling that if God the Son were walking the earth right now in human form, he’d be sipping one of these babies…and delighting.
